首届长桥中学英语节动员稿

Good morning, dear teachers and students。

尊敬的老师、亲爱的同学们，大家早上好.

Today is Monday, May the nineteenth, two thousand and eight. We will welcome the first English Festival of Changqiao Middle School. And the festival will last for one week. The theme of this festival is：Wonderful English World. You can take part in many activities related to English.

今天是2008年5月19日，星期一，我们将迎来为期一个星期的长桥中学第一届英语节。我们的活动主题是：精彩的英语世界。在此期间，同学们可以参与许多与英语相关的活动。

At noon, you will hear the beautiful English songs chosen by teachers. In English classes you will learn new English songs. We will have Poster Show, Clip newspapers Show, English Riddles, Singing Competition, Reading Competition, Tongue twister Competition, and the Play Show. You can show your talent in English in those activities.

在每天中午，你们会听到老师们为你们精心准备的英文歌曲；在英语课堂上，你们会学到新的英语歌曲。此外，我们还将举办英语海报展，剪报本展，进行英语谜语竞猜，歌曲比赛，朗读比赛，绕口令比赛，课本剧比赛等活动。在这些活动中，你们可以充分展现自己在英语方面的才能。

This morning, the English Riddles will start. You will find many English riddles which are written on pieces of papers in the hall on the ground floor. If you are the first one to know the answer, you will get a reward.

今天上午，英语谜语竞猜活动将展开序幕，很多印有英语谜语的纸条将在一楼大厅贴出，欢迎同学们踊跃参与竞猜。如果有哪位同学知道了谜语的答案，请到1楼办公室找崔老师,不要私自取下字条。第一个报出正确答案的，将得到一份小奖品。

Many students have begun their preparation for the competition. We hope they do their best in this English Festival.

有很多同学已经开始了比赛前的准备工作，我们祝愿这些同学能在英语节中有出色的表现。

We really hope all the students can feel the interest of learning English, enjoy the wonderful English world and thus be more willing to learn and use English.

我们希望通过本次英语节，同学们能够体会出学习英语的乐趣，沉浸在精彩的英语世界中，更加喜欢学习并使用英语。
